FIS RH 2013 – the Certification that is Mandatory in Racing
Anyone competing in organized races under FIS regulations needs an approved helmet. The Skull Dura JR is certified according to the FIS RH 2013 standard – the mandatory approval for children and young people in competition. Specifically, this means: The helmet has passed defined impact, penetration, and retention force tests developed specifically for racing.

Protection Technologies from the Adult Sector – Scaled Down, Not Simplified
With the Skull Dura JR, POC consistently focused on the same technological core as the Skull Dura X for adults.
Race Lock– Goggle locking system. In hard landings, the goggle remains fixed to the helmet, regardless of the impact.
Multi-Impact EPP Liner– EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) can absorb multiple impacts without losing its protective effect. Conventional EPS foam deforms once and must then be replaced. EPP is more durable – a relevant difference in intensive training.
ABS/PC Outer Shell– the combination of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene and Polycarbonate is robust, dimensionally stable, and absorbs direct impacts without splintering.
